A free body in a free society. In a fleshless shoulder, muscles have stiffened in reinforced concrete. Icicles of steel roxors hang from hair and eyebrows. A sweaty back in a yellowed tank top, the rhythm is determined by the rumble of a jackhammer, unyielding pieces of rubble crushed by the pulse of the club's blows and so the endless shift goes, demolition.

The worker of Czech EBM returns with her new recording “Kontrolní Orgán”. With it, she follows up on her previous mini-albums “Budovatel” (Bulder) and “Krev, Pot + Železobeton” (Blood, Sweat + Refined Concrete). The patterns and symbols are clear, Bunkerer is inspired mainly by the sound of the first wave of European EBM, her poetics are romance for brownfields, physicality, a jackhammer, demolition and cities overheated to the point that steam rises from the asphalt and aimless bodies aimlessly roam the streets.

The new album has finer and more refined production than the previous albums. Hypnotic and intoxicating industrial rhythms that found inspiration an ordinary construction worker toolshed meets with sequences that smells of the Berlin School, Kraftwerk or the soundtrack of an early eighties video game. Still, what best about Bunkerer's music is still finely preserved here, an ode to primitivism and instinct that prevents things from becoming unnecessarily complicated. The result is a record that kicks finely for about thirty minutes and its cassette release will hopefully get more than one spin not only by seasoned fans of the genre.
