Originally conceived as Winged Wheel Euro tour seven inch, but delayed at pressing plant, these vinyls have never seen the frosty roads on which this group embarked during January 2026.

Winged Wheel is six-headed noise-rock-fein-motorik-ciccone-youth-nerve-dub-melancholia-sonical gang with line up full of seasoned veteran players: Whitney Johnson (of Matchess, Circuit des Yeux), Cory Plump (of Spray Paint, or famous Tubby’s club in Kingston, NY), Matthew J. Rolin (check out his many solo albums), Steve Shelley (of Sonic Youth), Lonnie Slack (of Water Damage) and Fred Thomas (of Tyvek, Life Like Records).

Winged Wheel just released their third album “Desert So Green” on 12XU. This new seven inch can be viewed and heard like an appendix to their newest 9 song collection: two slabs of jammy fat meat that did not fit the bag or perhaps they are just two shorts jams the band pulled off while warming up in the studio. Either way, those are exactly the songs we like to listen to here at Stoned to Death HQ, while doing sudoku or meditating about late filmography of JCVD or just doing nothing.
